Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
so my Camry has gold emblems and i really dont like them becuase i have silver rims. so i noticed that they are like glued on exept for the main toyota sign. I want to paint them silver. in this situation wat would you guys do? i will post pics later
Painting them would be easiest. Just make sure it looks good. And clean underneath the emblems on the car, while you're at it. It can get pretty nasty under there.
Beat me to it. I need a gold trunk emblem, the Toyota Sombrero.

although is really isnt about emblems, its sorta about the painting thing. my wipers have a rusted spot that shows silver now (the part thats attached to my car) not the blade you buy in a store. well i wanna get ride of the ugly spots, but i'm wondering on whats the best way to go about it. taping off my whole WHITE car would be very very annoying
The Toyota emblem on my '96 Camry disappeared about 2 years ago. Toyota wanted about $25 for a new one, and I figured that was a waste, so I now live with a faded outline of the Toyota logo, a scratch where the theif used a screwdriver to popp it off and and two holes in the trunk where the emblem snaps in. After mine got ripped off, I noticed quite a few other Camry's with the emblem missing too. The neighbour down the street also has his missing. I guess they are pretty popular around here.
itlnx...you can remove the wiper arms and paint them off the car. I did that with mine when I bought the car and it lasted for about 3-4 years. Mine need to be done again. I just used black matte Tremclad spray paint from the hardware store. Seems to hold up pretty good against the elements.
I have all silver emblems on my gold Camry looks funny...
wanna trade?????
