Have you protected it somehow from letting water in? Last thing you want is it to suck water into the engine.

it should be protected because because we put the bottom part back it that we had to take off to put the filter back it so as long as i avoid big water puddles i should be fine

Ehh the way its set up you wont get any water sucked into their trust me. i live in washington and have a CAI and its been thru heavy rainds and deep puddles. nothing went wrong.

That seriously looks...great. I'm thinking of making a CAI as well...apparently my short ram is killing gas mileage and killing some torque. Can you share...at least vaguely how you did this? I'm impressed.

well went to oreily bought the intake pipeing and elbows and etc then i used my shortram which i already had took the battery off the tire off and took that plastic piece under the fender well off to put the filter their it took a good while but impressed with the results i think i might have got like 5 hp out of it and the torque is up to the impressive thing im impressed with is how cool the pipeing is from the manifold down to the fender well, make sure if you do it get the type of pipeing i got from OREILY im sure they will have the same exact one
