could i be experiencing my engine "knocking"?

i read how that my engine will "knock" cause of the gas quality..i always use 87 octane, and i drive a 95 camry xle v6...and i hear if you put better quality then it will stop.

but i dont know if its due to the gas or not...i feel it when i drive sometimes, almost always when im going faster ish speeds (45+) ill feel it like on my right foot, and itll just make a knock knock knock noise when im driving...it doesnt drive as smooth either..kinda shakes a little bit more too..? but then itll go away after 20 seconds or so.
