1999 Camry Dash Rear Light Indicator On...Help

There's this little rear light indicator on the left part of the dash.

It came one about a week ago.

We have checked ALL rear lamps and they are functioning properly.

Checked the rear lights.
Checked the brake lights.
Checked the license plate lights.
Checked the emergency flashing lights.
Checked the left and right turn signal lights.

Even checked the trunk lights.

What else should I check?

The owners manual says, there is a rear bulb out.

Any clues??????

Thanks....

Try cleaning all the connectors. Sometimes rust and corrosion causes the indicator to come on.

Did you check the high mounted 3rd brake light? Many times people forget about that one. Also, did you check the double filament bulbs back there? Turn on your headlights and then step on the brake pedal. Have someone check back in the rear to see what happens when the lights are on and the brake pedal is depressed.

Duhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.....

I guess out of sight, out of mind. And it was out of sight cause it was a bad bulb. I needed a third eye to see that third light.

Thanks for the help....
