I have a 2001 toyota camry I4 and i want to get a muffler to make it sound better but i don't want to spend like 200 bucks and then not like the sound. The main thing im worried about is that im gonna get it and then its gonna turn out to be a fart can. So what is the best muffler for my car?
I was looking into a magnaflow universal muffler but i'm not sure if thats the right choice

Just look on ebay, believe it or not a lot of decent sounding ones can be found.
If you want a deeper sound, look for a larger size mouth, generally it will not be as raspy.
areoturbine sounds awesome i think. search around here for clips and on youtube to et a feel of what u like. it might also help if ya told us what you were lookin for. some like the fart can sound some dont.
A lot of them tend to sound good if you still have a resonator pipe, if not fart can is what you'll get. Not sure if I4's have that. But yeah you-tube around, theres hundreds of videos on mufflers on camry's.

I dont know its kinda hard to explain but i tried. thanks a lot for the feedback so far.

Too bad they discontinued them for the camrys. I think you gotta buy a universal one and have a shop custom weld it on. I think I only saw one TN member use a universal borla muffler, but the tip looked really ricey, but it sounded nice.
well if u buy one from the dealership its not discontinued and they are trd/borla mufflers
