3rd Generation why do lowering springs exclude camry wagon?

i have a 1994 4 cyl. camry wagon which i would like to lower, but mostly all spring kits exclude wagons. why is that and if i get a set of eibach springs what type of obstacle in spring fitment will i run into?

thx..

Okay think of this...

The rarity of parts that fit the Camry are isolated to universal parts, custom made parts, and SOME TRD/Toyota affilate parts.

That's for the sedan and coupe.

Now think how rare parts are for a freakin wagon!

Point Taken, but still doesn't answer my question on spring fitment. or is it because camry wagons have a higher ride necessity that the springs are actually taller? to tell you the truth wagon rear end tend to sit higher than sedans and coupes. and if that's the case then i don't mind.. i do want to lower it.. but my curiosity leans toward lowering spring fitment on my struts and mounts .

thanx..

they are just heavier, and have a slightly different weight distribution

you could probably mix & match 4cyl and v6 springs, or gen 3 and gen 4 springs, and get an even drop that is to your satisfaction

Wagons are designed to haul heavier loads so the rear springs will be heavier.

At one point I was looking at replacing the back springs / shocks on a Volvo wagon I used to have (replaced it with the Camry), saw the same thing where sedan and wagon rear springs were different.

Check the link to determine what springs fit which model. Looks like they can fit all of them.

lol eyeball96 i was about to chime in lol

i was on here at one time asking about this, everyone said no i can't do it,and decided not to listen and just take the chance. i own a v6 camry wagon tokico blues with h&r sport drop springs and trd rear sway bar. so anything from the 4dr will fit the wagon. also when i first put the springs on i fully loaded the wagon and drove down to miami florida from parris island s.c. 500plus miles and didn't bottom out at all.

for everyone else if you have not done it someone else has. as for the wagon that's my specialty so next time refer people to me....

also for the front struts get the strut assembly from a 1996 camry.

thanx guys, so, i'm just gonna jump in head first on this one..whatever the outcome is, i'll keep you posted...
for the most part i already ordered the tokicos and the front strut bar.. and ordered a set of kyb strut mounts for the front with bearing.. got the upper plate where the bearing sits on from advance, and ordered the lower and upper spring insulator from the dealer.. basically from a 96 camry i read here that the rear suspension components can stay 94 since there is no movement from side to side (steering).

I know with imprezas and wrx's the rear always sags a little on the wagons when lowered because they are heavier in the rear than the sedan.

Just put coilovers on it and youll be pimpin!!
