Very annoying cricket like squeek 35-55 mph

It is so loud, I can't have the windows open or else it hurts my ears. The brakes squeek when I brake, but when I am not braking between 35 - 55 mph (mainly), just cruising along, there is a really high pitch 'cricket' like squeel or squeek. It sounds like it's coming from all over. Front, side rear. It's so loud that I can't have the windows open (i have sensative ears).

Any ideas? Thanks guys!

I had this problem on my 89 accord years ago, and recently on a 94 accord. You problem maybe a seizing caliper. Then again that high pitch sound to you maybe different to me. Does the sound stop at any time?

it could still be your worn brake pads. those loud squeaking warning things squeak at bizarre times. mine squeak (i know i need new pads) when i apply the brakes or when i make right turns. see if you need new pads and take it from there.

It happens when I'm not hitting the brakes. Could it still be them?

Mine was like that also. When I didn't apply the brakes it would squeal, and when I do apply the brakes it still squeals. So I still say check ur calipers or your whole braking system just to be safe.

You think the cricket sound is annoying? Try owning two lizards and have a large collection of crickets in your small college apartment room...
