Canada Back on the Road

So, after I made the decision to fix my car (and then took my time, and took a trip to Europe a week after I finished everything), my car has been back on the road for a bit. Accidents suck, but in the end, I did get to do a couple of things that I wouldn't have otherwise- learned how to weld, pulled my engine/tranny to fix a couple leaks, changed my hydraulic cooling fan to electric, etc etc. Bad sides are that my projectors were destroyed in the crash, my car is now different colors, and my front end is higher than before because I lost more weight in the front due to the CF hood. But everything will be dealt with...all in good time....and money....

So, here's my car's story/ordeal in pictures:

surprisingly the black depos and the blacked out bumper do it major justice in the looks department, is that rear bumper from a lexus?...*ponder*

in any aspects your one of my inspirations and its good to know that the king is back on the road in full camry style

On a side note, your car would look amazing in black.

thanks for the kind words everybody, it was a lot of work...to the point where I don't feel like working on a car for quite a while....and yet here I am working on my gf's new EK hatch ahhh...it never ends...

joe - yup yup! thought they may match the cf and the black bumper better....I'll be doing my projector retrofit on these as well within a week since I need them to drive down to the states, haha...need my hids...but we'll see how they look once I get the entire car repainted though- I'll have to decide if I want to paint the hood too or not at that point

ed - yeah, I know...it would def look good for sure, but I don't want to spend the money on a full repaint w/ door jams, trunk, engine bay, etc...that'd be crazy costly and I want to come down to md to see you and bird, and had really planned it in aug when I get down to nyc to find a place, but my gf surprised me with a trip to vegas, so we're going to be flying out of nyc in aug instead of a roadtrip. but rest assured, I'll be down there soon enough I'm sure....

lordstarwind - the rear bumper is actually the stock rear bumper with the razzi rear lip it's mine and many people's favorite asses for our cars haha

and jvr- I was just in amsterdam about a week ago actually!!!

but in all seriousness, thanks again guys, for the moral support that I needed to fix my car instead of going out and buying a new one. also, special thanks to renmike for the great deal he gave me on the bumper+lip, and of course, ASG14 for hooking me up with some cheap parts
