have you checked the battery cable and the ground cables? if theres any typ of corrosion you may want to clean or replace them. I've had the same thing happen to me and it was just the battery cable.

I've had this happen to me too. It was about 1am on a back-country road. Luckily my friends were leaving my other friends house right after me or I would have been stuck. My car wouldn't turn on for shit until we jumped it. My friends told me not to use any more battery power for anything more than I needed, but when I got near home and just HAD to try my high beams and consequently my car turned off again. LOLZ! Luckily I was able to roll to my parking spot.
Does your car sometimes turn off when you come to a stop light and brake pretty hard? Mine does sometimes. It usually jerks quickly pretty really hard about 5 times and then turns off, but it turns on when I try to start it up. Anybody have experience with this at all?

Were you holding at 60mph or were you accelerating or slowing down?
Mine did this when I let up off the gas from 70 mph and was coasting to slow down. It turned out to be my EGR valve. There are other sensors that work with the ECM to control the air/fuel mix or it could be a lack of spark for some reason. Like BlackCamry mentioned, it could be your air intake hose make sure it's tight like he said. Also, inspect it closely for cracks while squeezing it.
Hope you find it soon.
