Help with P0153 code

Hi. I'm new to the forums here. Thanks to all who contribute to this site. The CEL recently turned on my 1996 Camry V6. The CanOB2 car reader I recently purchased showed the code P1053 when I scanned the car. This code refers to:

O2 Sensor Circuit Slow Response (Bank2, Sensor1)

I then proceeded to inspect the sensor per the documentation I have on the Camry. Using an ohmmeter, I checked the resistance between the terminals +B and HT. It was reading around 14 ohms which is within spec. Since it seemed OK, I went ahead and reset the CEL.

Was there a glitch in the computer that triggered this event or do you folks think there's a real issue here? Has anyone experienced this? The CEL hasn't came back on again but it's only been a day.

Thanks in advance.

The O2 sensor may be slow to respond to changes in A/F mixture as a result of sensor deterioration.

The computer tests the sensor under certain established engine conditions and until 2 trips are made, until then the CEL may not come on.

To add to ^. My Dad's CEL went on for his '96 for an O2, I reset it, then took 2 months till it came back on. I replaced the sensor the 2nd time the CEL went on.
