GEN 3 interior door handle

Can some describe how to replace an interior door handle on a Gen 3 Camry, or point me to a link if there already is one. Thanks!

Removing the door panel is the hardest part. Pretty much ez to see how to remove door handle once thats done, couple of phillips head screw, and a couple of clips. Trying searching "door panel removal"

I'll make a DIY next time I remove mine.

Here's a DIY on installing front door speakers. It includes directions on how to remove the door panel...

Yes. You have to take the door panel off to replace the interior door handle.

As long as you're taking off one of the door panels, consider swapping out the front door speakers if the original factory speaker are in there.

Thanks guys. Based on the multitude of posts with broken door handles, and the amount of them available on the internet, it would appear that this is a systemic problem with the GEN3 Camry. I suspect it is an age related issue? My '96 is 12 years old with all the original handles. Passenger rear is broken right off and passenger front is only hanging on by a thread. I decided to order a set of four from Amazon.com.

what do you call the plastic backing area behind the interior handle? I couldn't find that on ebay... it must have a name beyond me.
