hi guys! im new to this forum i own a 1994 toyota camry le v6, and i was woundering if there is a maf sensor that has a bigger inner dimeter to let more air flow into my intake? and 1 that would work on my camry? lol
could i use a Toyota Supra 93-98 2JZGTE Mass Airflow Sensor MAF?
are you talking about the inner diameter of the maf housing? and the maf off of a N/A 2jz can be used. I was gonna use one too but decided not to. plus I think the housing to torpedo is the same in ratio. you could always get an 3" intake that houses the maf sensor.

it wont help at all. or at least not enough to be worth it. for it to benifit youd have to bore out the TB, intake manifold, and heads. as well as get a better flowing exhaust. one part doesnt really make a big differance but all thogether would increase power.

what he said ...
upgraded MAF's are used by turbo guys when their MAF maxes out, for example im helping a friend with an SR20DET, and his MAF maxes out in the 300whp range, so he could upgrade to a Z32 (300ZX TT) MAF for up to 450whp or just convert to a 3.5bar MAP

well i have a cold air intake on the camry thats 3'' in diameter, its that i thought a bigger diameter maf would let more air flow?
and is the maf from a n/a 2jz the same diameter as the maf off the camry?
im porting and polishing my heads, doing internal work, exhaust, intake, throttle body, etc... whats the power rating on the stock 1mz MAF? would it be worth it for me to upgrade?

^ no, and dont go spending lots of money on a performance naturally aspirated Camry. The engine is a great platform to work with n/a but the car sucks.

i blew my motor, and need new internals. since its only a couple hundred more to get better internals, im just going to get them, and no f*** around with it.

The stock 1MZ-FE ECU will not be able to run any other Supra TT or non-TT MAF sensors. You will need matching injectors to suit, and even then, the car will not run correctly unless you have a piggyback to tune for it.
Aside from a larger MAF, the gains are absolutely minimal for a near stock 1MZ-FE. I consider it a useless upgrade for naturally aspirated 1MZ
