1996 camry engine removal

hey guys, might be kind of a stupid question, as there is alot of explaining, but my head gasket just blew and now im going with a lower mileage motor and would like to know how to remove the old motor, so is there any thread on this forum that explains this or guide I can buy on how to do this, thanks.

Do a search for here for a link to the Toyota Shop Manual, it'll explain in detail how to remove the engine. If it's a 4 cylinder, it's pretty straight forward. With air tools, I was able to remove my engine in less than 4 hours. Also, it's much easier to pull the engine with the transmission still attached, at least for me it was.

I'll try that, the other thing I was thinking is that while I'm at it, its a v6 is there another engine that I could swap in that would use the same engine mounts/fitment all that that would have more power?
