I used the alternator from a 2002(I think) Toyota Highlander V6 with a towing package. It's a higher output and a direct fit if you have the 1mz engine.

Could you just get an alternator out of a big truck and make your own brackets for it? Would be the cheapest

mr.alternator does have one, but im lookin for like 170 amps, not just 130. ive got neon, 2 12" fosgate power t2's, and a 2000 watt amp. mostly run them at 1000w, which is rms on each sub, oh and a 5 farad cap, and an optima yellow top. so im lookin for a 170 amp, along with doin the big 3 upgrade.

and as far as makin my own bracket, i suck as fabricating, and makin anyting outa metal for that matter, so thats out of the question
