Video DIY: Gen3 Rear Seat Removal

Well, I finally got my laptop back from HP today, and got around to editing part one of my progressively-constructed Video DIY for strut replacement, four weeks after putting the Tokico/Intrax's in.

So without further ado, here is part 1 of my video strut replacement guide: removal of the backseat.

N35QU!K - nice instructions. Thanks for posting. Did you replace the entire strut assemblies or the coil springs?

Does that really need a video lol Took about 5 min to figure it out.

How do you like the Tokico/Intrax combo? I'm lovin mine!

Glad the work is appreciated

I did a complete upgrade from stock suspension to Tokico HP Struts and Intrax springs.

Heh, yeah, well back in the day it seemed really intimidating, and this is just to make it seem more possible for future upgraders.

I love my Tokico/Intrax setup Aside from the slightly uneven drop because the springs are for a Gen4 V6, it feels great

Awesome DIY video (thus far)! I'm hoping to use things like these as loose guidelines when I (hopefully) replace my suspension soon. My back two struts are bad at the moment, yet the fronts seem okay so I am debating on what to do.

Thank you so much for posting that, I had thought installing rear strut was next to impossible.

Hey Thanks Nestor,

I'm in the process of installing new 6x9 speakers in the back but I was stuck at the brake lamp trim. Your video helped! L8rs!!

Wait! Something out of the subject. Do you have plenty of engine clearance when you installed your Freedom Design strut brace?

It's funny you should mention that. Like many other TNers out there, i have really worn engine mounts, and the engine vibrates excessively, and when I first put the strut tower bar on, the throttle control cable mount would actually vibrate against the bar. After almost a year, it has left quite an indentation on the bottom of the bar.

Thats funny shyte cuz my engine mounts are worn out and vibrating also. I'm just waiting for a whole set mounts I purchased off ebay.

Maybe I should just wait for your video instruction before I install it? Hahah!!
