need help buying rims

i have a 2001 camry and finally can afford to buy rims for it the rims size are 225/45/17 offset is 40 should i buy these rims ?? your help would really help me out he wants 325 for them thanks

That's a tire size not a rim size. Rim is probably 17x8 with that tire, and you'll need to roll the fenders in the back. Fitment looks great though, it's what's on my car. At $325 it all depends on what kind of rim it is, some rims are basically worthless and will crack at the first sign of a bad pothole...

If you don't want to roll the fenders. look for 17x8 +35 at the biggest, 17x7 +35-45 fits without issue from what I've heard with a 215/45/17 tire. Hope this help!

sorry about that i meant to say wheel size is 225/45/17 and they are all most new he had them on his car for about 4k miles but traded his car and got a civic , so these wheels would be fine to get??

Again, that's a tire size. anything with numbers like that (225/45/17) is a tire size. Rims are measured in diameter and width in inches and an offset. Yours are most likely 17x8 +40mm.

hey sorry for the confusion the rim size was 17x8 +40 and i drove to work today with them i had to drive over bumps and rail tracks they did not rub or even make a sound hey where can i post pics of the car ??
