I had to replace #2 in my '95 6 Months ago, and was unable to locate just a replacement bushing, as it ball socket design and can't be pressed in (Atleast on the Gen 3) I ended up replacing the entire
control arm/toe adjuster assy. I tryed to get a used one from a salvage yard, but they sold me one from a Gen 4 and it was too short. I do still have it thought if you are intrested.

They get worn. Many vehicles don't use poly bushings which are much better.
I'm going through a similar issue myself and will fairly soon down the road need to replace bushings. A lot is just due to age and use. They wear.
The rear control arms if they have movement front to back [that's the bar underneath your 1 and 2] then the bushings will need to be replaced. Now the ones you label 1 and 2, two of mine have been replaced at some point, and the other two haven't. One is starting to wear. The adjustable bar seems it's usually totally replaced rather than replacing the bushings, but they're not too cheap to do unfortunately.
