So i bought my gen 3.5 like 1.5 months ago and it had this horrible brake problem where it made a knocking noise at a full stop. And it felted like the brake pads were slipping. So decieded to get new brakes pads even before i looked at the old ones. This was like 1 month ago. Well today i finally stopped being lazy and installed the new brake pads. And WOW when i took off my old brake pads, they were cracked and glazed. I am guessing the person before me never broke in the pads after he had them changed at the dealer. The old pads are toyota oem ftw. Now my car brakes normally.
On some other good news i changed my coolant. It took me like 14 gallons of water to get rid of all the old green crap. It took forever
And today i passed my smog test, with the help of 1 gal of acetone :p
Now once i figure out why my car wasnt start when its cold, the car will be in tip top shape.
