93 Head Gasket

Hey, well I realized this camry I was looking at buying is a 93 3mz fe engine, and I could only find the workshop manual for a 94 1mz fe engine and I was just wondering wether it would be the same instructions for my engine even though its not a 1mz

.....know your engine first.....

the 92-93 camry came with a four cam 3000 V6 engine called the 3VZ-FE
the 94-01 camry came with a four cam 3000 V6 engine called the 1MZ-FE

the 3MZ-FE came in the 2004-2006 camry SE V6 only, and thats a 3.3 four cam VVTI V6.

I found out last week that my 3VZFE had two cracked heads. I was having a guy from work change head gaskets for me, and when he took the heads to the machinist to have them decked and valves ground, they discovered the cracks. Fortunately the machinist found some used ones, so we're back in business. I don't know how much extra it's going to cost me, but I'm glad the problem was found!
