ok i have some sad news my 92 camry le i4 is now gone i recently sold her and i have to say i miss her.my question is what does everyone recommend for a new car i buy all my cars cash.ive been looking at lexus es300's 92-96 and some nissan maximas 95-99 also some integras and honda accords.i want a nice reliable import that will get me around without giving me any headaches just like my camrys did.any suggestions feel free remember im buying soemthing cash so it will have to be in the $2000-$4000 range
if you had more money i would get a s2000. If i were you, i would look into getting something a little newer. You just sold a 92 car, why would you want to buy another one?
I would personally buy a 6th gen accord v6 maybe the coupe ver.

Well in the $2,000 to $4,000 Range, I would go for a Impreza (95-00), 240sx, 90-96 Mitsubushi Eclipse, Eagle or Talion (all Wheel drive with lots of boost).

Then stick with what you know and get a ES300. If anything were to happen to my Camry, I would purchase a ES hands down. I have several friends with ES and none of them have ever had a problem of any kind. My Toyota Master Tech also works on Lexus so that is another reason for me to stick with the family.

Any of those should be fine.

While turbo/AWD DSMs would be fun, all the owners will tell you to prepare for a maintenance nightmare. Crank waaaalkkk...

Careful with the Maximas, the're transmissions overheat easily and burn out fast. I can't remember what years they fixed it but I know my 87 died after 120,000 miles.

If you can find a nice Maxima in your price range, that is what I would suggest. Or if you want to stay with Toyota, get an ES300. You also may want to look into early LS400's.
