350z 17" rims

I came across a set of chrome 7 spoke nissan 350z rims which have the 5x114.3 pattern like the camry. These rims are $150 with tires. I cant pass these up unless anyone knows of any fitment issues???? I guess I would need a set of hubrings for sure I am just unsure of other clearances. I don't suppose anyone has tried this.

here are the wheels specs:

Front
Size: 17x7.5
Offset: +30mm
Weight: 23.26lbs
Tire: 225/50/17

Rear
Size: 17x8.0
Offset: +33mm
Weight: 24.14lbs
Tire: 235/50/17

these should fit fine but they may stick out just a bit. also, you might have to use aftermarket/tuner lugs. toyota uses shank/seated lugs. nissan uses acorn type lugs.

Thanks for the info. I just couldn't pass these up for the money especially wrapped in Potenza rubber with 85% tread life left.

yea that a good deal. I was able to buy a perfect set for $100 but the tires were bald as hell. I sold those for $400 to buy a set of 18" 350Z wheels for my SC400.

take pics of it on the camry. im curious to see what they look like.

true but throw em on there just to see how much of a drop you'll need. im dropped on tenzo springs and the Z wheels wont fit with that drop.

Yeah I was thinking of that as well which is why I was hoping to find a gen 3 guy that had tried this. I guess I have a good reason to buy height adjustable coil-overs now if needed.

Well I went to pick up the chrome 350z 17" rims/tires today and upon inspection noticed that one of the rims on the inside bead had been split from a curb or pothole. Needless to say I was a bit disappointed until he offered me a diff set of 350z rims on even better Potenza rubber. The thing is that these are 18" rims on 225/45/18 fronts and 245/45/18 rears and they are not chrome 7 spokes but whitish silver 6 spokes but are in nearly perfect condition. I am not big on chrome anyway so I grabbed them up for the same cost. Put the rims on my gen3 at the shop and figured I am gonna need a 2" drop and rolled and pulled fenders at least in the rear. I pulled it outside for a few quik pics posted below.

looks pretty good. the camry must be riding really high right now.

*1 thing you should be cautious about is that these wheels may cause your wheels bearings to wear out very quickly.

side note, would look better if you grind off the nissan emblem :P and powdercoat them gun metal

but sick none the less,

did you have to do anything to make them fit or was it just bolt up ? (eg hub centric converter ring id assume was needed, but were the studs long enough stock?)

Odds are you can just pry the nissan logo off.

Good job not getting chrome rims. I think chrome is tacky and it would look especially bad on a white car.
