I thought it was my tire blowing because my steering wheel seemed like it locked up. i pull off to the side of the road and notice smoke coming from under my hood. i pop it open and notice engine oil over my entire engine. i kneel down and a puddle half the size of my car of oil sitting under the car. So if you know what the hell happened please let me know and what my best solution would be. new engine? or not worth it and just get a different car.

Looks like you threw a rod. This is caused typically by lack of lubrication.
(Is that an orange can of death that I see in the pics) I once saw a camry come in to work with a fram filter that had a smoked head from lack of oil. The anti flowback valve had come out in chunks and become lodged in the oil galleries not allowing any oil to flow to the head, and causing failure of the head. This is how I got my Camry so cheap($150).
A customer brought it in as a no crank, and it had thrown a rod on #4. The customer said his daughter was driving it for the last year. It was 12,000 miles over due for an oil change by the sticker.
It had 165k on it when I bought it, so apparently no one had ever checked the oil, and it burned up all that it had in it. Causing the rod to fail and punch through the block.
I still have the piston and rod from it. I will take a pic and post it, once I find it. ( I just moved) It makes a really cool paperweight.
