Motor Week '92 Episodes on the Gen3 Camry

Just got some bigger exhaust piping put in today, and it's got me excited about the car all over again... So excited that i can't sleep, so I went on YouTube and looked up some videos on our cars, and I came across a few very heart warming videos from way back in the day, when the Gen3 was a breath of fresh air in the auto industry. I'm sure you'll all enjoy these videos as much as I did

I did a search, and nothing came up, so I figured, what the hell

Body roll and dive galore lol. Didn't know my car used to do that huge dive thing.

Though the SE is a very sporting model...? Just don't really see it.

Yeah, not too many people gravitated towards the SE back in the day as much as now... I see so many Gen6 SEs these days, heh. I figured those were all the guys like us who grew up with Gen3 LEs and below, heh

Wow that makes me said I dont take a XLE. I miss my power seats and sunroof. Plus that nicer climate control would look better.

Is it possible to get that climate control from an xle at a junkyard and swap it into my le?

Wow... a fully loaded XLE V6 topped out at $23,000! Now they top out at over $32,000. Darn inflation and extra gadgets.

Very nice find. Every once and a while I still watch Motorweek... it's kinda funny that the host still starts out every section saying the exact same thing that he did 16 years ago: "we're glad to have you with us!"

Haha, dude, I was so juiced when I was watching it last night... I didn't know it was based on the ES300, this whole time I thought it was the other way around, heh.

At this point, I'm just glad my car doesn't dip that much anymore when I brake, haha

3rd Generation

Ha ha that's a nice find. I love this show, and yes John Davis has been saying the intro since this show first started up in the early 80's. I still think this show beats a lot of other car shows hands down.

TSN's Motoring basically copied this show but I don't like it quite as much although it's watchable.

Matt

Interesting videos, I liked that BMW and the SE model were in the same dialogue together
