Question steering wheels jerks from left to right

hey guys i put 17"s on my O Camry ,{which looks awesome},and now every time i come to a stop sign or o light the car wants to go left and right its as if it jerks like it grips the road like that ,maybe cuz of the low profile tires? has anybody had this problem i check to see maybe something got loose but everything looked fine , is this normal also it does this more at Major intersections like were alot cars drive at ,maybe its from the wider rims and tires ,rims are 17x8, tires 225/45/17 offset +40

I want to say it might be your brakes, but thats really a long shot, because it goes left and right... I doubt it has anything to do with the new wheels.

Is it when you hit the brakes, or is it when you accelerate? Because in that case, you're experiencing torque steer, something I run into every time I drive up the steep hills in San Francisco, heh.

Possibly an alignment problem.

alignment, warped rotors now being more noticeable with better tires, if if the tires are used and it does it all the time get the tires checked, just had to change out the shoes on the hhr cause the good for a years were thrashed. and it was doing the same thing but then started doing it driving fown the road...

the tires are new and yeah i thought that it might be the alignment ,and also i just replaced the old rotors with new ones so it cant be that ,and yeah sometimes when i accelerate it does it too ,but mostly when i come to a stop ,by my house they are repaving the road and you know when they take the old asphalt off it leaves like groves in the road ,well my car wants to fallow those little groves ,weird?! but over all the car handles good i even got the car up about 70 MPH and started to swerve from left to right nothing seemed out of place or loose WTF??!! should worry or not ??

sounds more like alighnment then, had an old pic up when i was 16 that would shimmy between 40 and 90... and when youd go to slow down, but new rotors arent always goin to not be your problem, if ya overheat em theyll warp just like others...
