Um, no, actually if the strut mounts are making the noise you can hear it while sitting in the back seat with somebody else driving. The mounts are located outboard (toward the outside of the car) of your speakers, and at the top of the strut, so if you can hear the noise coming from there, the mounts may be the culprit.

yea i know where the mounts are im not a newbie....but what i was saying was its not the acutal speaker rattling...u can hear the noise throughout the entire car no matter where ur sitting
