Question on Powersteering..

Well I'v flushed the power steering fluid put a new belt when I did the belts and have tensioned it twice... it always makes a noise when turning the wheel at idle either way off idle it is completely fine.. its like once it increase the RPM's its forcing enough P/S fluid as if the hose is collapsed and can't let enough through..

and on another note about to put a JDM tranny in what diff fluid is recommended for the car I know what tranny fluid

thanks,

Ryan

Little confused about the noise, describe it, if it sounds like a squeal, then belt and tension is problem, spray with water to see if it changes 'noise'.

If it sounds like a whirring sound, that is the pump working against non moving tires.

well iv done alot of suspension work before and I havn't come across something like this it did it with the old belt and the new belt, it is tensioned correct even checked it.... nothing is on hte belt.. when i turn it at a dead stop the car's rpm's will drop and go up like its hesitating (like a lose belt) and the steering wheel will shake up and down along with the noise

like i said i was thinking maybe the High pressure hose but it could also be the rack im taking off the boots todo inner/outer tie rods i will see if its leaking at either end

Have you flushed the fluid in the PS system?
Recently in my 98, I had a small leak, so I did a flush with adding Lucas PS Stop leak, and has been fine for 3 months now.
