3rd & 4th Generation (1992–1996 & 1997–2001)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 1992-1996 & 1997-2001
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
ok i searched around the forums and i think i seen one post about it..does anyone know where i can get rear window visors for my gen 3? or do i have to get them custom? i think you could put another years rear visor on the gen 3's?
I've only found for gen4's myself. Now what the difference is between the gen3 and gen4 rear windows I don't know.
Personally, I like them, and they aren't just for looks. They do have a function. I had the one they made for the jeep XJ, and it makes a difference for sure.
i believe someone with a gen 4 has one. you might be able to use that and modify it to fit the gen 3
correct. he ordered it from ebay.

Damn, a question went to another question and leads to a flame thread. Lol i was the one who found them on ebay, but then i didnt buy it cause the seller told me he wasnt how sure it'll fit on the gen 3's. But if you want, you can get it and try it out. I believe that if you get the window visor, then this would actually flows together. i believe Taco(Something) bought it from ebay and had it on his 4th gen. I wouldnt mind getting it, if only they know forsure it'll fit the gen 3's.
Did some quick measurements [mostlly accurate] today. The difference between the gen3 and gen4 rear windows seems to mainly be the curve at the top is different. If you were to draw a straight line from top corner to corner and them from there measure down to the edge of the window the gen3 is about 2" and the gen4 is about 3"
