snap off the stock air intake box, open up the throttle body, and use a toothbrush to clean out the IAC.
i'd use seafoam for the chemical to clean it with.
make sure it's a well ventilated area, and preferably void of cops, as large clouds of smoke will rise from your exhaust.
after I'd reccomend changing out the plugs, and the oil.
had the same problem, and this worked fine for me
