3rd Generation o/d light

I'm having trouble finding the o/d off light on my 93' camry which I recently recieved. When o/d button is pushed in its on if im not correct? What im asking is there doesn't seem to be an indicator wheither it is on or not is that normal? because in other cars ive driven there is an light indicator that tells the driver it is off so im just wondering if maybe mine is jsut broken.

The "O/D OFF" light is at the very bottom the slot where gear letters are, between the speedometer and tachometer, in the middle of the gauge cluster. Yes, the o/d is on when the button is pushed in.

Yes, the O/D off light is at the bottom under the green "PWR" light in your instrument cluster where you see what gear you're in. The light went out on my mom's gen 3.5 so I swapped out the bulb with another one that was unused. Changing the bulb involves taking apart your dash and taking out the instrument cluster. Isn't too hard once you figure out where all the clips and screws are.

As long as O/D is working as it should be mechanically, it's not a problem. I just changed it because I was also changing the "D" indicator light which burned out. Naturally that is the first one to go since it's on most of the time.
