hey you all know I have boost. how much does the ecu retard if the knock trips? becuase I have been wondering if I don't have a ecu that can retard time( which I'm about to go e-manage in like a week. also dynotune before that with vids.)do you guys know how much timing is being retarded to with a knock trip?

There is no real set amount. The PCM will retard timing in a constantly variable capacity when picking up a knock condition from the sensor. This system functions only as an emergency system. You should not be knocking if you are using premium fuel and your EGR system is functioning properly. Have you increased compression ratio on this engine?
