Differential metal shavings

I just changed my diff fluid in my '95 5S-FE auto and I noticed that the drain plug is magnetized and was holding between 1/16 and 1/8th inch of very fine metal shavings that looked like silver powder. My car has 115,000 miles on it. Is this something that I should be worried about, or is it just normal wear and tear? Thanks.

^ Sorry, I do not have a picture. The shavings were so fine that when mixed with the ATF it almost looked like a thick cream. They were the standard metal color, silverish gray. There were no large shavings, just that fine powder, stuck to the drain plug via the magnet. They piled up between 1/16 and 1/8th (I'd probably say closer to 1/16th inch, but I didn't break out a ruler) of an inch on the end of the drain plug. The car seems to be driving fine, it just made me nervous when I saw that.

That would be normal, when I drained my diff around 95,000 km, I had the same, and there was no previous drain and fill. Last year I drained and filled diff again at 130 000 kms and saw only a small amount on the magnet and same at 205000 km this spring.
