Question Auto Tranny Shift Problems

Well for the past 3 days, I have been experiencing some shifting and driving problems. This happened right after I bring in my car for gas and burning rubber smell. When I was driving up a hill it was normal until a few sec when it was 2,500 Rpm then jumped to 3,000 Rpm with no power then fast back to 2,500 Rpm and then it did it a few more times. I noticed that the car was taking longer to shift usually 3,000 Rpm and now 4,500 Rpm and even up to 5,000 Rpm. When I accelerate (to pass a car, or speed up) of the gas the car would take a few seconds to change speed which the car has been doing for years. You can hear the motor working hard but not moving faster. While riding today I was easy on the gas, the car would not shift to second gear. It was bouncing of the rev limiter for about 2 or 3 seconds and then shifted to 2nd. This was the second time and it was a level street. I checked all the cables and nothing was loose and was tight. This car was never driven hard, original owner. Could be like a clutch or something computer related controlling shift points.

How many miles are on it?

I am used to OBDI, but maybe you can pull a tranny code on OBDII. I know that a tranny code can be stored without a CEL on my '95.

It has 58,000 miles (not a typo) and the transmission fluid is good. Had a transmission flush at 52,000 miles. It had a little slip about 3 years and now its becoming A LOT worst. It happened right after I received it from a shop for engine smell. I am thinking that they had done something wrong.
