alignment or rotation ? or do you need new tires ? if your rear tires still have some read left then rotate, otherwise get four new tires ... re-alignment would be if you see uneven wear or crooked steering going straight ... im not sure what youre asking.
Solus KH16 are the tires I bought (same size). I am very happy with them. You can check out the survey though, the only real markdowns are deep snow and ice traction.....but check the competition too.
I only align when I feel pulling, or I see my tires are wearing unevenly.

Use Tirerack, they have good prices. They also offer reviews on tires. I got Yoko Avid H4s, they r good but I wouldnt recommended them for you. They give you no rain or snow traction.
Get dedicated winter tires. Sacrfice dry street proformance for the added traction on snow. Its worth it imo especially for the hours when you drive on unplowed roads.
Oh and ya a 4 wheel alignment is good, if your car is pulling. Just make sure you go to a good shop. Some places align the wheels to make the steering wheel straight, but the wheels r actually bad. The good shops align the steering wheel straight then align the tires into the right spec.

I've always liked the Goodyear Comfortreds. They're on the expensive side- around $100 each depending on size, in my opinion- they're worth every penny.
They're pretty good in the snow, excellent in the rain, and provide a nice, luxurious ride. They are also the quietest tires I've ever had on a car.
I had 2 different sets on my previous Camry, and my new Camry will be getting them once the OEM crappy tires wear out this fall.
They are rated for 80,000 miles... but in reality they only last 55-60,000.
They are not, however, sporty at all. If you are looking for sportiness, they have a similar line of Goodyears called Tripletreds, but they are noticeably noisier, but provide better road feel/sportiness.
As for the need for an alignment, if you drive down a straight, smooth road, and the car doesn't pull to the right or left much... you probably don't need an alignment. (It might drift slightly to the side of the road due to the slope, but it shouldn't be dramatic... and you shouldn't feel like you have to grip the wheel very hard to keep it straight.)
thank you. thats the kind of advice i am looking for..i appreciate the response. i have nice 94 camry v6 xle that has only 53K on it and want to keep it cherry. i think i will go for the 4 wheel alignment to be safe.
Jesus, no offense, but 53k miles is nothing. If you want to throw away money, yes, get the 4-wheel alignment.
Also, the reason a few of us posted hyperlinks to the tires we bought is so you can see hundreds of reviews of that exact tire....not just one person's.

Ok, I bought the Michalin HydroEdge after reseaching All Season tires in Consumer Reports. It was the best all around, dry/wet/snow tire. It is not cheap, but hey, you get what you pay for. Read the reviews. Although some people complain about snow traction, they must be shit drivers. I put these on my dad's '96 Camry, and replaced the front tires with these on my mom's '05 Camry. My dad said no issues at all in the snow, and I have drove in 3-4 inches of snow with it, and felt it was great for an all season tire. My Toyota parts guy (one of the top in the US I'd say) recommends them too. You have similiar weather conditions to me, so hopefully this helps.
I went with a performance tire, Michelin Pilot Exalto. They were expensive, but you can tell it in the ride and way my car sticks to the road. They are on sale now at Sears!

i bought it from a little old lady. mint condition. she did a big service before the sale with brakes all around as well. 4 new O2 sensors as well. got real lucky. it will need tires by December so I am starting early. I do want an alignment because it seems they wont want to guarantee the tires without it. what do you think. i am having the center caps from the rims painted by a pro because new ones are 42 bucks at the dealer. what a rip off !
