Trans cable
Hi, I was swapping a 99 2.2L camry engine/trans for a JDM engine/trans and the cable (kickdown,detent,throttle, whatever you call it) that goes into the transmission is different. Just a different length, so I may can adjust it, but how easy is it to swap them out. Can I just drop the pan and get to it or is it more involved. If anyone can help let me know. I haven't gotten a chance to look yet sorry with the car at my dad's and me working. Thanks for any help, advice with swapping it or adjusting it. It is about a 2 inch difference between the end of the cable and the adjusting bolts. Jeff
