help taking out part to replace plastic baffle on transmission

My 1992 Camry V6 axle seal on the driver side is bad and leaking tranny fluid. When i removed the seal, I noticed the plastic baffle between the seal and the bearing is broken as well. Well I removed the baffle because it's broken and bought one from the dealership. Anyway the only way for me to put that baffle back in is to replace the cover on the side of the transmission, which has 6 or 7 bolts. i removed that, around that plate it has silicone and i try to pry it off after bolts were removed, however the plate seems like it doesn't wanna get off. Is there a special tool that I should use to do that? The part number of that plate is 33010 on the transmission. Please help me out, it's driving me crazy.
