'98 4cyl factory tire pressure

I was going to check the tire pressures on my mom's '98 Camry, but found that the tire pressures printed on the door jamb sticker have worn away. Anyone know what the factory recommended settings are? I may adjust from those settings, but I'd like to know what their baseline is.

I don't know off the top of my head, but 30-32 PSI should be fine.

My 3rd party tires have max pressure listed on the sidewall. Are the door jamb pressures only for stock tires?

The pressure rating on the sidewalls are maximum pressure that the tire can handle under certain loads. The car will be very bouncy if set at that pressure.

Tire pressure should also be in the owner's manual, if not the above posted range is a good start.

I agree. I'm usually in the 32-33 PSI range. My gen 5.5 recommends 29 PSI from the factory but I prefer to fill it just a little bit more.
