Help! on 00 camry driver side axle

I need some help guys..! so i was in the middle changing both the axles on my car and i notice that the driver side axles is hard to come out .. but the passenger side comes out easily . is there something else i need to take off so the driver side axles come right off? any advice or help i would appericated. thanks

nope...you just have to get some leverage and pry it out- keep trying...

Consider yourself lucky so far... The passenger side axle, with its intermediate bearing, is usually the one that gives grief as the intermediate bearing usually rusts in place and can be a pain. As was said earlier, keep prying, it'll pop out.

hmmm.....just to confirm- the axle is off the hub already and just hanging loose, right?


what have you been using to pry? I typically like using my long (2 ft) flat screwdriver to pry things, but for the axle, I found that an actual crowbar- using the hooked side- works best if you haven't tried that yet

Try something different to pry with. You may be placing a large side force on the axle when prying. May need to experiment with a small nail puller if yoy can get it in.
