Just wanted to let you guys know Im coming back! As you probably know my solara was totaled a week ago, so Im not even going to bother getting another car... Im going to spend about $1k on my gen 3 camry to get it back to a clean car and drive that as my daily. Ive already got a good idea of what I plan to do and how I want it to look, so im going to start ordering parts next week.

I dont have any plans for performance or making the car faster because I dont feel it is worth spending the money on it. I do want to make the exterior as clean and low as possible though, so thats what I plan to do I will use this thread as a project log and whatnot, but mostly just wanted to say Im back and here to stay for a while!!

here is a rough photoshop... Im not going to go with the 92-94 lights this time I dont think. I think i want to try the 95-96 lights and badgeless grille for a change



Here is what I have in mind for now:
95-96 bumper and rmm lip (black again)
95-96 stock headlights and corners
95-96 badgeless grille
amber signals? cant decide on clear or amber...
repaint of front end (fenders, hood, front bumper)
35% tint all around (maybe including windshield? gangster? )
gram lights
k-sport coilovers
fix the exhaust so it doesnt look dumb and is really quiet.

Thats the list for now, wont be much more than appearance but thats all I need and can really afford right now. No desire to put more than that into such an old and slow car, but it should be a fun project!

The Gen 3 looks sweet! Photo-shop the Solara front clip on the Gen 3. I just wondering how it would look.

thats awesome man. the car will look sexy too. i think li like the clear signals with the amber bulbs. you should get in touch with greg cheban about the gen3.5 clear headlight lenses if your goin that route.
