My lowered camry now rubs while turning left

So I finally got my 97 Camry xle v6 lowered on 01 Solara Tein S-Techs and Tokico Struts and a TRD rear sway bar. I used the Solara springs because the Camry S-Techs were only rated for the 4 cylinder. The drop is advertised at 1.7 front 1.4 rear.

I still have stock rims with 205/65 15 tires.

My problem is that now when I take sharp left turns quickly I get rubbing. I'm not sure where the rubbing is definitely a tire to plastic kind of sound I think.

Is there anything I can do about this?

first get an alignment first and then try rolling your fenders

Start by looking at your tires and try to see impact marks or rubbing marks, inside and out, then if you see something you'll know what the problem is.

ummm, don't get an alignment yet. get an alignment after a month or 1,000 miles. whichever comes first.

rolling the fenders, is a bit extreme for a mild drop on stock wheels.

to the OP, how fast are you going on these left turns?

Probably around 10 or 15 mph? Basically a quick U-turn.

The weird thing is I don't get rubbing when I do an equally sharp right turn at the same speed.

Also I didn't mention the rubbing sounds like it is coming from the front right.

Thanks for the help guys.

Oh man.........I was counting on my eventual purchase of tokicos and upgraded RSB to keep my 245/45/18's from rubbing in the rear. You still getting that kind of body roll on a 15 MPH corner? I may be f#$ked here even with rolled n' pulled fenders. I am hoping you have some other issue causing this problem.

My rears are fine. Its the front right that rubs.

I did notice that the front right is a little lower than the front left. Its only about a quarter of an inch but it might be enough to make a difference between rubbing and not.

jack the car up and double check to see if the spring is sitting on the strut correctly.

I will check that this weekend.

I did take a quick look under the wheel wells and I noticed that the right side wheel well comes in a lot more around the strut.

It looks like that area is at least one of the places it is rubbing.

I'm not sure what I can do about it because it looks like the bump is protecting some wires/ tubes.

I jacked the car up this weekend and took some pictures of the wheel wells. It was pretty obvious where it is rubbing.

You can clearly see the black scuff marks in my right wheel well.

What is interesting is that the left well has no scuff marks.

I tried moving the plastic up and it doesn't have anywhere to go.

I am convinced that the two wheel wells are differently shaped.

It is either that or my car is leaning more to the right than it does to the left. I'm not sure what could cause this.

Another possibility is that I cut my bump stops to short.

I can't be the only one who has had this problem with everyone running 18s and 17s so any thoughts or advise is welcome.

Here is a pic of my drop for good measure.

that just means youre not low enough ... lower it and the right side should rub too, then youre good to go

looking at the car, its not low enough to rub anything - because i almost never rub and im much lower ... maybe you should take the wheels off and inspect the fender lining for tears or something sticking out to cause this

^ well, it looks like there is a tear from the pics...

but you for sure dont need to roll the fenders at all, not with that wheel/tire setup. That doesnt really seem like an issue with the drop to me, thats not typically where a car will rub if its lowered.
