hey guys well i got a few questions i hope u can help me with...i recently had the rear drums done on my camry..new wagner shoes and new drums. well the car stops pretty nicely but for some strange reason when i brake the whole rear end of the car rattles. i have already changed the rear stabilizer bushings and checked the end links which is not the problem. my mechanic told me i need new struts and mounts in the rear which im starting to believe because when i do hit a bump it makes the same rattle noise but would this also be happening under mid to sudden stop braking? any answers would be great! thanks in advance

If the rear upper strut mounting nut comes loose it will make noise over bumps, but not when braking. Are you sure that it is the same noise, or a noise that happens to sound the same?
it sounds pretty similiar to me....the thing i dont get is they r brand new shoes and drums so why would the noise be coming from the brakes? any ideas on what could be the problem?

Even though it may be similiar, it may be different problems. You may have to deal with one at a time to resolve your problem.
Brand even shose and drums don't necessary mean that they won't be the cause, like installation, in-correct part, etc. If it didn't make noise when braking before, I would suggest rechecking the installtion work first before checking on anything else.
As for the noise over bump, does it make noise when you hit the bump straight on, like a speed bump, which would move the suspension the same rate, hopefully.
the entire rear rattles....no matter if im going over a speed bump or going over something simple as a man hole....i dont know what to do about the brakes...they are brand new

I would suggest having the rear struts upper mounting nuts check to make sure that they are tight; three nuts holding the upper mount and one big one for the strut. It does require removal of the rear seat and package shelf but the rest of the rear suspension won't be disturb, before putting it back together take the car for a drive and see if you still have the noise or not.
By the way, can you tell me who did the installation of the brakes?
so if i flip down the rear seat and remove the rear shelf where the speakers are i can get to the strut mount bolts? i had a mechanic of mine do them...i called him today and im taking the car back in thursday

Something like that; the back seat doesn't just flip down though.
Did this friend of your install the brakes for you too? If you can take a picture of the brake shoes and post it that would really be great to identify any possible cause of the brake noise.

"It does require removal of the rear seat and package shelf "
It does require removal of the rear seat cushion, but not the package shelf. Once the rear seat cushion is out you will expose one screw on each side that holds each side bolster on. Remove that bolt and lift up on the side bolsters. They will come right out. That will expose the 3 nuts that hold the upper strut mount to the car and the one larger nut that holds the the strut itself. It is a bit tight, but there is just enough room to work in there. Make sure all 4 nuts on each side are torqued to spec. This should take you only 5 or 10 minutes.
