3rd Generation Upgrading Radio Receiver

I'd put this in the audio forum but as far as I know I have a potential problem that's unique to Camry's. Just bought a 93 SE (first car, I'm pretty psyched, but obviously I don't know too much about cars...yet) and I'm looking to upgrade the receiver. Problem is that the current radio is a double size, all in one piece. Install Dr. and the other sites have a two-piece original system, so I'm wondering if there would be additional problems trying to put a modern receiver in, other than trying to find something to fill the gap. If I'm doing a bad job describing then here's a pic:

As you can see it's just one big unit. Suggestions?

The single-space radio has a little coinbox under it; you can grab one of those from a junk yard, ebay, or maybe off of someone else on TN

Welcome to the boards, btw

I'd be willing to pull my two-piece cassette/radio/coinbox set off, and trade it+cash for yours.

I'll PM you if you're interested.

Either get the coin box, or a piece of trim to put there....or for the ultimate solution. Double-DIN Touch Screen Nav system
