Angry Camry cooling system leak

I recently replaced the ac compressor on my 93 SE v6 Camry (160k). However, I found the coolant overfolw tank getting almost empty after I drove two weeks. I kept filling coolant for about 1 gallon but it seems not solve the issue. I don't see any leak on the floor and I sent to the mechanic (the guy who changed my compressor) to check but they could not find any leaking. So far the temperature meter looks normal and not go to red. I am wondering what happened? anyone has this experience? Thanks a lot!

The coolant has to be going somewhere.

The radiator may have a slight leak, the coolant and radiator being hot it evaporates and leaves no liquid trace. A coolant hose buried in the engine somewhere is leaking and you can see it. The heater core in the car can leak. Leaking water pump. If an automatic trans, the trans cooler inside the radiator can fail and leak water into the trans. Check over the engine with a flashlight and all the hoses with your hand for coolant when the engine is cold.

Or there could be a head gasket leak.

your probobly burning coolant or its gitting into the exhoust or the engine oil check all three. change your oil yourself and loook in the drain pan after your done and if it is discollored or you see a nother liquid you would bee able to tell coolant and oil dont mix and it could also be able to get ito the exhaust through the egr valve it could be any thing any were, any where there is coolant passage there could be a leak and any were in the engine but. oyea check yea trans fluid pull the dipp stick and if it is strabarry milkshake color then your fucked but if it is red or dark red or brown or black that is all the colors of trans fluid. yea let me know what you find.

No reason unless the shop damaged the radiator or other cooling system component.

Do your radiator fans start up when you turn on the AC?
