94 V6 Camry Rough Idle - No Codes

Hi,

I have a 94 V6 Camry Coupe with 103,000 miles on it. The car generally runs OK but its started to run very roughly while idling. It feels like its missing on a couple of cylinders however the CEL does not come on. While its stumbling at idle, if you depress the accelerator the engine picks up smoothly on all cylinders. The plugs look OK and I've changed the fuel and air filters and cleaned the throttle body with no help. Any idea?

Thanks

it may be a problem with the IAC valve(idle air control). i had the same problem on my 95 v6 and that was it. it also didnt throw a code.

check your air intake hose for cracks in the bellow crevices. ie. pull it off and pull on each end to inspect. You can use electrical tape to temporarily patch it.
