Help 98 Camry stop lights

Hi guys.

My car's left stop light is not working when I push the break padal. But when I use the remote control to open or lock the door, it will flash twice. So the bulb must be good.

Any suggustion about the problem? How to fix it?

Thanks a lot!

IIRC, the keyless entry flashes the regular head/taillight circuit, not the brake lights. The bulbs should be dual-filament, most likely the brighter filament (brake light) is burnt out. Pull out the bulb and take a look.

Bingo. It's a dual filament bulb. One filament is burned out while the other is still good. Get a new bulb, or if you want to test it first, switch it with the bulb from the other side of the car.
