4th Generation Trunk seal leak help

I have a trunk leak on the right side caused by water getting under the rubber trunk gasket. The gasket can easily be pulled off on only the right side.

I need your advise on the procedure and materials used to adhere the gasket to the trunk per oem standards or close to it.

What type of adhesive ?
Do you apply the adhesive to both side of the rubber or just the side closest to the drain ridge ?
How do you apply the adhesive ?

Thanks

I'd check with your local parts store. They should have some type of sealant specifically for door seals I would think.

i've used a product called "goop automotive adhesive" before to hold some rubber reals in place and seemed to work well.
