The friggin engine light has turned on , I can gaurantee its because of the new CAI causing the fuel/air mixture to be too rich...anyway to fix this?...besides removing the CAI?
youre crazy ... the stock ECU is smart enough to handle a CAI, there are hundreds of us with aftermarket intakes on
how about you go to AutoZone or another place like that and have them read the code? if its actually intake-related, it was more than likely an install issue because an aftermarket intake doesnt change the air intake capacity or temperature THAT much

I have nothing to add for now except that Meshuggah effing rules. In my top 3 bands ever.
Somebody will probably be faster than me to lookup the codes in the net so the thread will be well underway when I'm back from work, but still, have you tried googling those codes to try to see if anybody else got that problem.

Air/Fuel sensor circuit response
(bank 1 sensor 1)
Probably Causes
1 - Open or short circuit condition
2 - Poor electrical connection
P0171
OEM Brand: OBDII
The PCM has determined that during testing, the fuel system for bank 1 was too lean. (bank 1 identifies location of cylinder #1, while bank 2 identifies the cylinders on the opposite bank)
OEM Brand: Domestic
Fuel trim bank on condition
Explanation
The powertrain control module uses the oxygen sensor to calculate the air/fuel ratio of the engine.
The computer has recognized a rich or lean condition on one engine bank only.
Probably Causes
1 - If bank one and two codes set together suspect fuel pressure or MAF sensor
2 - Oxygen sensor defective
3 - Ignition misfire-repair
4 - Fuel Injector problem (I had my fuel injectors serviced 1 week ago at a toyota dealership)
I did not reset my emission control unit...how would I go about doing this? And why would it need to be reset? shouldn't it detect the difference and adjust the fuel/air mixture as needed?
when i replaced my spark plugs, wires, pcv valve, fuel filter, i had the battery disconnected for over 15 minutes...and the light came back on...the o2 sensor is around 100bux it seems... which sucks. o welt, hopefully thats all it is.
What size piping is your intake? If it's more than 2.75" then that's probably why. I had an intake that was 3" and it threw up a few CELs until I put my stock box back on.
