I'm getting ready to purchase one and I was curious to see what they look like. I have a 1995 Toyota Camry XLE 4 Door in Red. Thanks!

Ive got a tan 93 Camry LE with a Thule rack on and a front fairing. I can post pictures hopefully tomorrow after i take them, didn't have any on my computer that showed the rack clearly. I personally like the look of the rack on my Camry. But then again i have hardly taken the roof rack off 2 years and when i do it looks weird to me.

Having a roof rack on a Camry makes it the ultimate car.

I'm picking it up tomorrow.

Yakima complete rack system for your car. Includes 48" bars, Faring, 4 Q towers, copperhead fork mount bike rack, clips, ski rack, and matching locks on all! Didnt use very much and has been stored under my bed. Paid about $850 new.

I got a smoking deal on it. 200 bucks! Can't wait. I'll have to pick up some Q14 clips is what I'm guessing, but that's about it!

that is a SMOKIN' deal. here are some horrible camera-phone photos of mine with the button-down ski rack. i really need to take some better photos...

yakima racks rule! the round bars are nice so the ski rack can be slid sideways when not in use and the hold a hell of a lot. ive hauled 5 bikes on my roof before and at another time i had about 15 pairs of skis (6 in the button-down and 9 in the hard plastic ski coffin). here is a photo of my rack on my previos car hauling 2 bikes and 4 pairs of skis.

Whatever brand you end up going with, be sure to take it off when you're not using it to haul stuff. I noticed that my gas mileage suffered horribly when making trips down the highway with it attached.

Here are some pictures of my Camry with a Thule rack

Right now the rack only has 2 bike racks on since i have needed the space for carrying kayaks. I also have a clamp style ski rack which I don't really like because salt coats any skis on top. This summer i made a "coffin" to put my skis in and we will see how that works this winter.

As for gas mileage you do loose a little bit, but Im still getting around 440 miles per tank on the high way and only a slight decrease when you add things to the top (like canoes or kayaks).

making the door seal flush over rack

hey guys, I'm new here.

I just bought a yakima gutterless rack system for my 1997 camry. I installed it and it works great! My only complaint is that the door seal (one that attaches along the internal gutter system) no longer sits flush against the Q-clips. Is there any way to remedy this? Trim the underside of the seal around the Q-clip? Will that destroy the effectivness of the seal when you take the rack off?

If anyone has any ideas or solutions I would appreciate it. Thanks!
