Wait a minute ya are forgetting about GrkBall's camry rocking gen 4 jic coilovers. He proved it already yes u can rock them but he's talking about fully threaded coilovers like k-sport or jic coilovers. Gen 4 struts on a gen 3 was a no unless I'm mistaken...

You are not mistaken, GrkBalla did install gen 4 JIC Magic coilovers and did not need to swap hubs. He did state that the only difference is the front sway bar where it mounts. If the gen 4 front sway bar end links attaches at the strut and you are installing gen 4 coilovers into a gen 3 it should not matter since the gen 3 front sway bar attaches at the lower control arm.
If you install gen 4 coilovers into a gen the it should not matter about the front sway bar and you should never even have to fool with it.

im talkin about jic coilovers and a trd rear sway bar.
one thing i did forget to make sure of. i read on here somewhere that they gen4 brake assembly will fit on the gen 3, but you need the backing plate, calibers and brackets, rotors, and hub assembly. this is correct, is it not?
ya, i know the front sway bar attaches at the control arms. orignally i thought that tein made a pair of coilovers for the gen4 and thats what i wanted. but i searched and couldnt find any. so i went with jic. the only ones for the gen3 is k sport and d2, and im not real fond of them, and thats why i was wondering if they did.
Get the JIC coilovers made for the gen 4. Personally I would get the cheaper one which the cheapest one found online is $1200 shipped unless you getting it used. The TRD RSB does work for the gen 3 just for the hell of it also get gen 4 bushing brackets which are like $10 total from the dealer.
the issue with the front sway bar is null because coilovers come with 4 mounting tabs, not just 2 for the rears like struts would ... but if all else fails, look to GrkBallaG since he's been there and done it
