Floor jack and jackstand positions

I was searching though this forum and found a post with this reference:

[For additional information on the transverse lifting point and the jackstand placement, see p. 37 of the Introduction section of the Gen 3 repair manual link .... sticky at top of the forum page.]

I am having trouble finding the link to the manual referred to in this reference, concerning jackstand placement and maybe floorjack placement. Hope someone can help me find it. Thank you in advance.

Craig

The engine subframe is good for jackstands in the front and there's a spot ahead of the rear wheels that work really well for placing jackstands in the rear. If someone has pictures (i'm in class) to post up, it should clear up any more confusion.

hmm

Yeah like blue wrote any solid part of the subframe is fine. Just avoid lifting off of any part of the engine or trans and any movable suspension and you will be golden. Avoid gas and trans lines as well. I know some makes allow lifting from the rocker seam.....I try to avoid this whenever possible.

Look under the car in the front and back, you'll see a bar that goes across and a bump that comes down from it. You can put this bump in the saddle of the floor jack.
