4th Generation Is it my water pump?

When I first start the car and back out the drive way the car makes a gurggling water flowing through a straw sound when I accelerate out to the street.

When I get to the 1st stop sign and then accelerate in DRIVE it makes the sound and then it stops for the entire day.

It only happens when I 1st start the car each day... **Just like the screeching brakes sound that only happens when I 1st start the car. These 2 things happen simultaneously and it is starting to worry me about my GEN 4.

**[The screeching brakes I know how to fix and will get it done soon]

The point of this post is this:

I use to have a 97 Chevrolet Cavalier and it started making this sound.
Then soon after my windows would fog up really bad.
Then the floors became damp and then mold grew on the carpets and mats.
Then when the a/c was turned on smoke would come out the vents.
I took it in to a mechanic they said it was the water pump.
Went to Auto-Zone and had the new one in by the end of the week.

1.) Do I need to replace my water pump on my GEN 4 or why are these symptoms showing up? The gurggling and straw sipping sounds.

2.) Is it hard to replace the water pump on a GEN 4?

On a totally different note.. my GEN 4 survived it's first Category 2 Hurricane : Ike.

hmm

Check for oil in the radiator and coolant in the oil. This sounds like a head gasket going out to me blowing air into the reservoir. Next time, before you drive off, open the hood and start the car run out to the engine bay and give it some throttle from under the hood and check for the gurgling sound and air entering the coolant reservoir. If there is....you have a head gasket going out.

Is it low on coolant? Why do you think it is the water pump going out? Where is the noise coming from? From inside the car? Outside the car? Have you had any service work done to the car recently? What year is the car? V6 or 4?

It is difficult to help you if we don't even have enough information on what the problem is. If you like a speculation on what is wrong, it is an air pocket in your heater core.
